Accessibility and Partial Conformance Statement
InstaGet is designed toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We also provide enhanced visible focus, reduced-motion support, and larger primary touch targets.
Partial conformance for third-party content
Some public pages dynamically aggregate media controlled by third-party social platforms. When that platform does not supply an equivalent accessibility description, caption, transcript, audio description, or other required alternative, those pages do not conform as a whole. They would conform if that uncontrolled third-party media were removed.
This limitation applies only to dynamically aggregated platform content that InstaGet does not control. It does not exclude first-party content, curated profile or gallery content, navigation, forms, billing, consent, authentication, or other controlled workflows from our accessibility requirements.
How media is described
We use platform-provided accessibility text when available. Otherwise, public post media receives a localized identification of its type and author, while the platform caption is exposed separately. We never use a filename or URL as an image description.
A text alternative does not replace captions, transcripts, sign-language interpretation, or audio description required for time-based media. First-party audio and video must have the applicable alternatives before publication.
